Transposition
Miranda is exceptionally good at music. She's just finished her second music theory book. She's also doing not one but two instruments (violin and piano) and she's doing them both impressively well. I sometimes have to remind myself that she's only five...
Anyway, she got a new thing to do on the piano at her last lesson, transposition. She was so proud of herself! She came in and told me, "Guess what I did? I transposed a piece!"
I said, "Wow! Impressive! Did you do it in your head?" Of course, I meant, as opposed to writing it out on paper.
"No," she replied, "I did it with my fingers!"
