New bed
Miranda's got a new bed. She's got the bottom bunk of the bunkbeds we've got set up for the little girls. Zoë is perfectly happy with the top bunk, and Miranda is getting used to the bottom bunk, but she keeps falling out, which isn't good.
Today, I rolled up a soft, thick mattress pad and tucked it underneath the sheet at the edge of the bed, to hopefully act as a little barrier so she doesn't fall out tonight. Keep your fingers crossed.
Funny kid
Miranda's turning into a very funny kid.
Today she accompanied me to the bathroom and when I went to pull up my pants she said, "A tummy." I affirmed that. She then said, "Stripes." I just burst out in giggles. That's a pretty colorful way of describing stretch marks!
Later, she was outside with her dad and while he was attending to his chores, she was poking around in the bushes. She finally came back after having a good look and said to him, "No monkeys."
Well, that's a relief!
