Drawing
I mentioned to Zoë's speech therapist (who works with lots of kids with lots of different issues, of course) that Miranda loves to draw and color, a lot more than Zoë does. Zoë will color sometimes, but she's not terribly interested in it or very occupied by it for long. Miranda, though, can be kept busy with paper and crayons or a pencil for quite some time.
And apparently, Miranda's interest in drawing things is unusual for her age. How about that?
I was drawing from the time I could hold a crayon. It just always fascinated me (still does, although most of my drawing is digital now). So I guess that despite being very like her daddy in temperament, Miranda did get something from me.
We'll just have to wait and see if she ends up being as inclined to art as I've always been. Maybe she just likes to scribble on things.
